S50 Question urgent

ok heres my problem, i recently purchased a new s50 a couple of weeks ago and i set it on my car to do something and when i came back it was on the floor and now it has a scratch and a dent on the corner, this dent caused one of the buttons to get stuck and its very hard to press it in. so my question is does cannon's warranty cover this kind of damage or am i stuck with a dent on my camera

I'm no Canon representative, but I suspect you'll have to reach for your pocket.

How much is the question.
Some time ago, my G2 flash stopped working, out of warranty. At the camera shop, I learned that whatever the intervention, the price was the same : around 150 euros. As the price was fixed, I asked for a complete check (lens was screeching a little).
When the camera came back, I was pleased to notice that they had replaced the dented front cover.
