Hi all,
I'm fairly new here and have a question regarding pricing. Recently a company of 80 employees approached me with interest to have all their employees photographed.
This would be a pretty simple shoot, with white background.
How would you work a pricing model for this? I've never had to think of something with 80 different people.
I guess what I'm looking for is others who have might have a dollar amount of what you think my quote should be around...

Im interested in the responses as well, i asked a similar question just now, but a bit more broad for commercial work.
What kind of company is it? :) I was passing through a fair last week and in the commercial building were many vendors, mostly banks and politics, but I figured it wouldnt hurt to hand out my card and find out if they would be interested in pro head shots for their website and business cards. no takers yet.

Well, to do white on location "correctly" isn't that simple. I would probably a min of 2 full days plus all other expenses. I would say $4,000 min that would be only be $50 per headshot.

One thing to keep in mind is, a company with 80 people should be able to afford this. I suppose you could add in a discount say beyond 20 people, they save 10% beyond 50 people they get save 15%...etc.
I would also add in a location fee which would equate to say a minimum of 2-3 hours of your time as the base fee. Then, add in $25-$50 per head and then depending on your commercial market, charge usage for them which grants 1-3 years of displaying their photos on the web and 5,000-10,000 brochure/biz card prints.
Of course, you don't have to provide the prints but this limits their usage which will provide you with residual income later down the line when they need to relicense their print/web usage.
To determine your licensing price, I usually use this site and add in the low to mid price into the invoice. http://photographersindex.com/stockprice.htm
