First post here, looks like a great forum. Pic was taken with my new 10D and Canon 80-300 f4.5-5.6 USM III

settings:
1/250 sec
f/4.5
ISO 100
Color space: sRGB
Focal length: 220mm

I am an amateur who spend most of my time outdoors fishing and hunting ... now I'll have my camera everytime I go.

Any recommendations on the NY Institute of Photography course?

of course you can, but they do need to be on a web site somewhere

here is how to link to your photo

{img} http://etc.com/photoname.jpg {/img}

just replace the { with a [ also the } with a ]
and the http;// with the location and name of your photo.

I have put spaces after and before the img tags, but yuo must not have any spaces at all.

As Terry says, you CAN upload images to this site but only from another Web Site.
If you have one put the chosen image(s) on that site and use that URL when you start a new topic here.
Look in Help for more tips.

Some sites like pbase.com allow you to load and refer from there, but only if you are a paid-up member.

Welcome to this forum. You will find it very friendly and the people are very helpful. Also it's not so big that your picture disappears off the front page in one day.

You can take correspondence courses if you wish but chances are we will point you in the right direction if you need help.
