I just got the new lense today and have been testing it out with random shots when diriving around town.....I was literally hoping out of my truck and standing in the middle of roads at times when at a red light lol.............

I need to work on the focusing, seems like the majority are out of focus but I am getting used to the lense....it feels so weird how truly close you have to stand to the object you are shooting, its awesome........

Here a link to the lens sample thread for the lens. The lens is a pain to focus. F8 and focuse to infinity seems to be the easiest way. Pretty much everything is in focus at that point.

There is a thread for this lens.

Samyang/Rokinon 8 mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fish-eye (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=835464)

Set the aperture at f8 and the focus at infinity and you'll be fine for anything beyond 4ft or so. For anything closer, you'll need to focus, which isn't easy without a split focus screen. Also, focusing is best done at f3.5. Then after you're happy with the focus, set your aperture.
