I'm looking for a sling bag to walk around with, but do not have much of a budget. I've read countless reviews online but am wondering if any of you have a favorite budget sling bag that you carry around?

I really like the Lowepro slingshot 100 http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-SlingShot-All-Weather-Digital-Backpack/dp/B000BAX50G It tends to run on the small side though, I use it to carry around a nongripped 450D w/ kit lens, sometimes the 50mm f/1.8 and a 430ex ii. For the longer lenses, I've heard the slingshot 300 was better.

Also, I forgot to say, there is a new version which is the slingshot 102, which has some upgrades, but I don't know what they are off the top of my head.

Depends what you want to carry. If you need to carry 2 77mm lenses along with a DSLR non gripped and a flash/smaller lens and netbook, have a look at the lowepro classified 180aw.

I have a Kata 3N1-20 (3 in 1) Sling Backpack. It can carry a non-gripped crop camera, 4 to 5 lenses, lens blower, gps receiver, odd bits and pieces and my lunch. I took it to work everyday until I retired.
This is the mid sized bag in this series, they make three sizes 10, 20 & 30.

that looks like a great bag, but a little too far out of my price range. i'm looking to go as cheap as possible pretty much! haha

I'm using the Incase Dslr sling bag, ever since I bought it it's been my go to bag for everything from vacations to day trips.

What's your budget? Maybe then we can give you a recommendation that fits it.
I use the think tank sling-o-matic 30. But then again, I am not sure if this may or may not fit your unstated budget.

The OP stated that Slingshot 100 -or 102- was "a little steep at the price range i'd like to spend", and found the Kata 3N1-20 to be "a little too far out of my price range". I don't think the budget is "unstated", and the Sling-o-matic 30 would be way way out of his/her budget if you look at the aforementioned statements.

I really like my Lowepro SlingShot 200AW..It'S been with me for over three years and into some pretty harsh environments. Very comfortable and takes a mountain of gear.

i'd say my budget it around 40 give or take a few dollars.

that case logic sling that was posted is right around what I'd like to spend, and seems to get great reviews on amazon.

If you look at the statements yourself you will see that it is still unstated.
But we could make a guess.
But to help him we would need a number don't you think?
Now that he has just stated it, we can start making recommendations.

The case logic might fit your bill.
I have not used their bags, just Lowe pro and think tank.
If you do decide to go for the case logic, let us know your thoughts.

I disagree... He/she stated that a $60 (Slingshot 102) bag was steep for his budget and a $87 bag (Kata 3N1-20) was way out of his range. The bag that you mentioned based on the "unstated" budget retails around $200. From these "data points" it was easy to determine that he/she was looking for something around $40-50 (hence his/her tendency towards the Caselogic bag).

Back to the topic in hand... Amazon hast the Slingshot 100 for $44 (link (http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-SlingShot-All-Weather-Digital-Backpack/dp/B000BAX50G)). If you don't care about the improvements in 102 over 100, it may fit your budget and it's a nice sling bag. Just realized that 102 is only $6 more than the 100 at Amazon (link (http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-SlingShot-102-AW/dp/B003656Q7C/ref=dp_ob_title_ce)) :D

Good luck!

I have the Tenba Shootout Sling in Medium. That one works well with a 7D and 24-70L mounted and holds 3-4 more lenses and a ton of accessories. The small version works well with a Rebel body mounted to the 24-70L (or smaller) and still holds a 3-4 lenses and a ton of accessories. I think the difference width is about an inch.

**EDIT** disregard this post - I just noticed that the OPs price range. I think the Tenba small Shootout is near $80.
