I loaned my Powershot S500 to a friend who went to Cancun, and you guessed it, he got caught in Hurricane Wilma. When he returned, the camera shoots photos just fine, but none of the menu buttons on the back work. The only one that functions is the Menu button when you are in playback node. If you press it, the language menu comes up, but you can not scroll through them and no other buttons on the back work at all.
He does not remember any bumps or it getting wet, but things were pretty confusing and it is possible.
Is there some sort of "button lock" that I do not know about or is it just busted? Any help is appreciated
