I have a portrait sitting tomorrow for two Newfoundlands. These dogs are HUGE and I am not really sure what I should bring for gear to this.

What would you suggest?

Do you mean what equipment - or how to pose the dogs? are you shooting in a studio or outdoors?

I'd suggest getting quite far back

ETA, by the way, Newfies drool a LOT so keep your camera and lens well clear when they shake their heads - not kidding!!! take a "slobber cloth" with you just in case the owner doesn't bring one. The drool is like wallpaper paste....

LOL, I saw that this thread was older so any suggestions would be moot, but I was thinking the same thing as Gundogs. :D Friend has a newfie, you don't get within 10 foot of it without being slimed.
