Taken with a pentacon 300mm f4 lens
It took 4 different versions of the same picture with raw processing and then using photomatix pro which is a bracketing merging type software to get the most out of it.
Afterwards I used 16 bit image enhancing in CS2 to get as much highlights out of the nebula as possible and some lasooing to bring out the highlights once again then noise ninja to soften the image.
There is some star trail movement as it was a 10 second exposure.
Took a while but I'm happy with the result.
It goes to show what the sensor does pick up when processing with raw and 16 bit imaging.
