(Following in franks footsteps, kinda)
Jimmies VS Clubby houses a 5ltr 308ci injected V8, '185i', 5 speed T5 manual box, 3.9:1 LSD IRS rear end.
It's just been painted about 3 weeks ago.
packs a pretty mean punch for a stocka, skates second, chirps 3rd, and turns alot of heads. the paint job is gorgeous.

I know it was dark but I might have made a few of em a little lighter.. Also you can see your reflection in one of them.. haha.. Apart from that good job.

:D You PSed that aircraft in, didn't you? I also liked the self portrait where you were scratching yourself! :D :D .

yeah ps'd it, but it WAS in the original photo, it was just really, really high up. lol, i dragged it down, changed the angle a bit and tried to blend it in - cursing you relised.
nah, wasn't a self portrait, it was my jimmie on the phone, haha
comment on the photo's people! i need to be able to take good photos, i'll be taking heaps this summer of cars.
is the location good?
did i kill it with too much contrast?
are the photos too dark, etc.
i just found out what that * does, so i should be able to get some better shots with the sky in the background, then try and expose the car in PS. (i dunno).

They do look a bit dark. Contrasty is a judgement call.
Location is OK & most of the bad reflections are editable. Looks like a big field & I might have moved farther away from the objects reflecting in the side to make them smaller. Same with the background buildings if you have the room.
Last shot could do without the building, too. Most of this is just about loking before you shoot & really visualizing what you're going to get. Car shows restrict us, but you had options here that you ignored. Do some more. ;)

too true frank, i really wanted some great reflections in the car
(i'm printing some for him, and they'll be plastered all over the panel shop that painted his car)
but i wanted like... sun set reflections, not ugly building reflections ;)
some are ok i guess, next time theres a few things i might try and rent (getting paid for the next ones). like an external flash, a good reflector, and possibly a wider lens.

but i wanted like... sun set reflections, On a day with a blue sky like that, you'll need to wait 'till just after the sun sets. Sometimes if there's low cloud you can shoot earlier when the sun goes behind them. Most of these shots (http://photobucket.com/albums/v218/PhotosGuy/Samples%20-%20Rides/) were taken that way. ...a few things i might try and rent Be careful with the strobe. It's hard to visualize the effect. Have fun!

(i did a tiny bit of shadows&highlights, but i didn't want it grainy and grey.)

That's the idea, but those are way dark & contrasty because you exposed for the sky. If you include the sky, you'll have to blend exposures. Or, if the car was turned around in the 1st two, you could get the reflection of the sky without the bright background & with better light on the front of the car. Like in these shots where that sun was off to my right, or in your last shot:

I'm not a fan of photoshop, especially for changing a picture drastically, only time I Ever use photoshop is to just minutely change the brightness/contrast and/or to change size (from original). For that, I take points off, but other than that, nice shots.

If you don't use photoshop what do you use?

the only things i've done to the first ones are contrast (max +10), and levels... :\
the others, i've toyed with the try and get a bit of detail into the front of the car.
