This was more difficult than I thought it would be. I think the composition was OK and I made him feel comfortable with the shoot, my biggest problem was exposure and some of the harsh shadows from being outside. I didn’t charge much so I think they'll be happy

Looking at two of them at work I noticed some noise problem, The prints don't look like that!

I like your composition and he does look at ease, but I think you need more light on his face...it seems very dark...

Great start...

I think he looks really uncomfortable, in all but the third one. Like he's all tensed up. And I know it's not your call, but why did he wear those jeans to have his picture taken? They look ridiculous.

It looks like you got the background exposed properly. He on the other hand could use some more light - more fill flash. They are interesting poses but I still have a hard time with the dressed down look today. Business casual is one thing, grunge, while a style for sure, is something else.

Exposure - I bumped #2 by +25 contrast and it looks much better. The noise in the last one could be partially the result of compression but there does seem to be a lot.

Thanks For the feedback, I agreee with the lighting issue and I will fix it before I hand over any pictures. I took them in RAW and then tried to correct the light, I need to adjust my monitor (in photoshop the're not too dark, but viewing with windows..........too dark!)

Again thanks everyone for the help!

If it wasn't for this forum I would be to worlds worst wanna be photographer!

Just a tip on the posing...one main issue that most all high school guys have, is the "big neck" thing. Next time try to point it out and make it a joke but try to get them to look a bit more relaxed. They tend to tense up thier "muscles" to try to look "manly"
