Photo Club...Where is everyone from?

This is a where is everyone from again thread, the purpose it to see where everyone is located, so that possible clubs can be formed.

Anyone think this is a good idea?

Example,

I am located in: NYC, USA

Anyone in my area can post and we can possibly form a photography club. We have already started this in another thread, this is just an example.

If you like this idea, start your own thread for you own city and country or use this thread or use the other thread.

This could be really, reallly big!!!

Looks like I'm the second member of the UK chapter of the Canon Powershot Clan - seem to be outnumbered by our colonial cousins over the pond - I too live in the North-West of the UK here in Bolton, about 40 miles from Haworth.

Currently on my 3rd digital Powershot (G1, G2, skipped past the G3, and now very pleased with the G5). I'm the competition secretary of a local camera club and a competition judge for the L&CPU, a union which looks after the interests of the 140 camera clubs here in the NW of the UK.

Yes some great shots from here, and I bet you get some great ones from Sydney as well. I was up there a few weeks ago and had planned to go into the Rocks on a Saturday night and try for some Opera House / Harbour Bridge shots but it rained that night! Try again next time. Ulladulla has some really great walks, the aboriginal etc. Its a good place for a holiday house.
