Passive Income?

Do any of you make a majority (or any) of your money with passive income (purposefully not defining the term)?

yes, there is a link to photography in this question for me personally. I typed it out but figured it would generate a huge off-topic discussion that probably would be even less valuable than just not making the connection at all.

Without a definition, it's hard to answer the question. But if you mean income from investments, retirement plans, or social security, then I could answer that I make precious little in that manner at this time.

I assume you mean making money by selling pictures witout actually having to go out and sell them. Passive meaning they sell themselves..

Following NIDZ lead - Yes, I spend a good deal of time creating images that "sell theirselves" - basically to self centered individuals who want to see themselves (and related subjects) in print. A niche market to be sure but definately a 'passive' marketing approach.

If you're talking about passive income/loss as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, I do.

Since I retired, the bulk of our income has come from rental houses, and the IRS defines that as passive income.

Right now I'm waiting tables, but it's my first priority in the "life-goal" list.
