PM read reciepts - turning on?

Anyone know how to turn on read reciepts for PMs on? I must've turned mine off and now I can't tell if people have read my PMs or not.

I don't see any options relating to that.

I'm not sure any of us are getting read receipts any more.

I see it all the way at the bottom of the new message screen under additional options. Whether or not it works is a different matter. The receiver also has the option of not sending the read receipt.

Besides the read receipt is useless because receiver can just say no to send it so the receipt is in no way a guarantee that the pm has been read or not. Its like email system many (maybe most) mail clients prompt user if sender have requested a receipt. Lotus Notes is different here the user cannot choose not to send the receipt notice. It is always sent.
