macro tripod

Any suggestions as to a good mini tripod I can use for macros, especially near ground level. Slik looks good and the Slik Mini Tripod has been recommended. Any help will be appreciated.

I have the Slik mini, it's a great and versatile tripod and it fits in a fotobag easily, it's very strong, it can hold my videocamera with the biggest battery with no problem.
