May i ask why a close up filter and not extension tubes? I plan to get this lens soon and i was wondering which would be best. I beleive extension tubes would result in better quality since there is no added elements in front of the glass

I've used both ex tube and closeup filter but finally I choose closeup filter because of good IQ, more flexible and especially not afraid of falling dust into the body

Nice shots. Never used a closeup filter before but it looks like it's working well for you. Just a heads up, the limit is 8 embedded images per thread so the mods will be in here to clean up shortly and remove some of them.

Thanks for comment!. Raynox 250 is different to Closeup filter 500D, you can get more info from google!
