I ran across this girl, our eyes met and we had a splendid time talking bulls and cows
I took her to a mall, tried on hats...there is a PERSONALITY here, I wish I have conveyed some of it

#2 is awesome! I love the way her eyes hit me from within the shadow of the hat.
The other two are nice, also. While all three images are great demonstrations of photographic skill, personally, I think the world has seen enough brick wall backdrops.

Thanks for sharing!

wow..she has the eyes ! Who is this beautiful lady...I've been looking for those eyes all my life...great shots and compositions and she's not afraid of the camera!...God, I can't go back and look at those photos anymore because I melt every time I do!!! I like them all 1&3 best in that order ...#2 falls under photography being 1/2 what you see and 1/2 what you don't...but with her I miss her eyes already,,in #2

Thank you for your commentaries.
I confess to trying to be "artistique" and I fell flat on it on #2.
My better part seems to be straight-forward-no-gimmmicks old-fashioned photography.

So there, another thing learned.
I thank you!

Did you shoot RAW? Perhaps cranking up the exposure a bit, then pulling the highlights down, would bring out enough shadow detail to make it work.

I shot RAW and put the shadows where they are now
There is plenty of detail in the orig but this was intentional
sometimes one plays games....

K has said it exactly....I have been back here a few times just to look at #1 and think of it as a real classic, keep forever, enter it in contests shot...then I get back to #3 and melt in her eyes again and have to leave the thread for fear of my very sole being sucked out and into those !!!!!!!

I just got back from a business trip and I ran into a girl who also had awsome eyes. Very blue. She looked a lot like this one. I unfortunately didn't have my camera, nor the guts to ask to take her picture. Glad you did - great shots!

Very nice! The first 2 shot's look like they could have been taken in the W's or W's. Not only the coloration but also because of her cloths and her "look" in general. She has lovely eyes and smile that appear to give a brief look in to her very soul.

Thank you for your kind comments.
No use coming to Réunion to find her. She is not here. Maybe in Belgium or Sweden, I do not know.

If you get the chance, do read "the Science of Murphy's Law" by Richard Robinson. It will give you insight to how fate or luck are needed to bring about order in the chaos.

What has it to do with this girl?
I met her by chance but had a feeling that I knew her from somewhere. We had never met before but...we had been living in same foreign countries and I had worked with her father!

Chance wasn't chance any longer but Fate. How could two people passing by in the same city in the same bar have so many things in common, as if they were relatives?

The magic is visible in the look of her eyes.
(Or maybe in the illumination there was just a random positive deviation from the mean...)

I prefer the Magic!

excellent shot. I think you've done a great job capturing what you wanted to. Especially in the first image. It's very attracting, and it's more than looks. That shot has a lot of character. Great stuff !
