uv/circular polarizer

I have Tiffen tube (43mm) and tele & wide converters (67mm, end thread)
I'm not sure what size of filters to buy, 43mm or 67mm? Should I put 43mm filters (polarize on top of UV) in between the tube and the converter? or should I put 67mm filters at the end of the converter?
I'm a newbie and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe filters are designed to take the load of having a telephoto or wide angle lens screwed into them, especially a polarizing filter that turns to adjust the direction of light rays entering the lens. Unfortunately that means you may need to buy both sizes depending on if you want to filter your telephoto or wide angle shots.
