If that's your first attempt, I'd hate to see what you'll be like with more practice! These are great. Keep it up and keep sharing! :)

Thanks for all the nice comments! It's much appreciated!

I'd love to be able to goto more races in Philip Island and the such, but i'm moving back to Vancouver soon and we don't get any of these fun events. Might have to go state side for more interesting stuff sometime!

Great event they have at Philip Island and it's very viewer friendly. Not huge gates in your way ect, easy to walk around and view from basically everywhere! Awesome! I'm a lucky guy to be able to go!

Great work Ern, and glad you enjoyed the race. Good action shots but the last one is the winner. As said, if this was your first try - you're gonna kill it!

Keep shooting!

Shame you couldn't get to a World Superbike race there. It's even more spectator friendly. You can ride into the spectator areas on a motorbike and ride around to where you want to view the action. Sick of that spot? Ride around to the next!

ou tof curiosity,

what gear are you allowed to enter the motogp with?

Having just purchased a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS, i didnt think I would be let in with the gear as it would be classified as commercial....same idea as concerts only allowing point and shoots?

The event organisers mandate 300mm or less, but they have been quite relaxed about this lately.
