The colors are nice, but this particular flower seems to lend itself well to B&W, so that is my preference.

Manual exposure at 1/400s or 1/500s, f8.0; Hoya +7 diopters; don't remember the focal length. I may have used manual focus on one, autofocus on the other. Sorry, I don't have the exact EXIF data handy.

Off-camera flash (camera right) through a diffuser panel, and a reflector (camera left) for fill.

I found an interesting and useful flaw in my G1's design: It seems that I can sync my flash at speeds higher than 1/250s when I use Canon's off-camera shoe cord. The EXIF data will show that flash is off, though it obviously fired. Hopefully I am not damaging the camera by doing this. :)
