Hello fellow Photogs. :)

Alright everyone. I just finished this survey for all photographers to fill out, if you want. Which I don't know why you wouldn't... no harm can come of this. It is literally 100% anonymous. 17 questions total. Some are serious, some are just for fun.

Please help spread the word about this survey so people will partake. If only a handful of people finish it, well then the survey is pretty much wasted. My hope is to get at least a couple hundred photographers to fill this out.

Results will be posted on November 25th. So you have until then to fill out the survey and share it with all of your other photographer friends.

Just a fun little survey.

HAHAHA!! Thank you everyone. I'm glad it could help pass some time.

So far 47 photographers have participated. 2 use helicopters to get around. And 2 don't have hands. lol

Why is there no "Both" option for the cat/dog question?

Why is there no "Both" option for the cat/dog question?
I didn't think that was possible. ;) Haha.

What is the point of the survey?

Something to do.
Learn more about photographers in general.
Because you're bored.
Why not?

Why is there no "Both" option for the cat/dog question?

There are others that are too tightly restricted, too . . . Including the final question.

Partake and participate do not mean the same thing. While the simplified definition of partake implies that it simply means to take part or join in, the meaning is also more specific in that it also requires that something is taken by or given to one who partakes. A simple example is "partake" in the revelry. So, while I might participate, there is nothing to partake of (as far as I know).

18 percent gray (AKA, middle gray) is not a color. In fact, eighteen percent gray is actually closer to twelve percent. This will make you happy: Meadow green is also not a color -- at least, not one that can be found on any color space diagram because it is actually a mixture of various colors (same thing is true of brown, puce, rose, and other non-guy colors).

Helicopter is not a brand.

It's "hobbyist" and not "hobbiest" unless you mean one who consorts with small furry people. Assuming the intended meaning is the former, how does it differ from amateur.
If you mean the latter, then it's a good thing that the survey
is anonymous.

As already mentioned by others, the cat/dog question is too restrictive. There is so much more to consider such as the recipe and the chef.

Don't write off Chrysler yet.

Other than these few nits, I can see
that it is a thorough and well thought out analytical survey.

Was this posted on any other forums. If you didn't then getting an indication of what general percentage each manufacturer has in the market place is not very valid. It is will really skew to Canon if this is the only place you put the link.

I'm surprised "sports photography isn't one of the pre-listed choices for "Subject of Choice"...
All I can do is write it in... and write-ins rarely "win", lol.

Why is there no choice for "bisexual", but there is a choice for "bicurious"...

"Apple" is not an operating system.

Why is Leica only a write-in for "Camera of Choice"?

What if I make 49% of my income from photography. I'm not a professional?

Why is there no per-determined option for "unhappily married" for "Relationship status"?

If I have 3 children, would you rather I choose "1-3" or "3-6" for the amount of "children"?

As mentioned before, "helicopter" is not a brand of vehicle.

I've never heard of "linus" as an operating system. Is it anything like Linux?

Is the option of "neither" in regards to "shooting style", are you trying to single out the blind photographers?

FYI, the survey took me 2 minutes. The searching for holes took almost 10... WELL worth my time!

I was thinking that question should have allowed multiple answers to be selected. Canon isn't the only brand I shoot.

lol Seriously. Some people read way too much into stuff. ;)

This is a survey for fun. You are not required to fill it out. If you don't like it, or don't like the questions/answers... don't do it. Haha.

And yes, this has been posted on other forums, and even on Google+ and Facebook.

Thank you for everyone who has filled this out... since I can't say participated... or partook. Whatever.

I was trying to think of other subjects... but for the life of me I couldn't think of any others than what I listed. Haha. Which is why I did the write in thing.

And, as far as the bisexual/bicurious thing... I think I meant to put bisexual... but accidently put bicurious.
