This competition is a way of showcasing your best photographs from the last year. Its all in the name of fun so please don't take it too seriously! Everyone is welcome to enter and I look forward to seeing all the great submissions!

Timetable:

Sports (Closes 30th November)
Entry requirements:

The photo must have been taken in the 12 months preceding the closing date
The photo must not have been entered in the 2004 POTN photographer of the year contest
Each member may submit one photo to each of the contests
This photo may be changed at any time up to the closing date for submissions
Post processing - nothing that substantially changes the original composition of the image.
Photos must be no larger than 800 pixels at the longest dimension. Also, please try and keep the filesize down to under 200k if possible to make viewing the gallery easier for modem users.
No framing of pictures, text or copyright notices.

Here is a little nit-pickey....Could someone edit the topic thread title so that PHOTOGRAPHER is spelled correctly?: :o :rolleyes: :o :rolleyes:

What catagories? I have yet to be able to find a list of catagories. Can you post them or are there any?

"One of", would have been referring to the older competitions, of Landscapes, Animals, Other, and this one.

As wazza says, it could be any. This was a catchall rule introduced to cover our backs. The thinking was that we might have a 'winner of winners' runoff between, say, the finalists from each of the categories.

However, I'm not going to be doing that now. I'll be having an open competition that anyone can submit to. This makes more sense, particularly as we have so many new members that join througout the year.

I've removed the rule to save further confusion.
