I think those are fantastic! I love all of the curves and the grain. The only thing that throws me off about the last two is the cobwebs? on them.... just makes it look unclean, to me :p

I think though that they make very nice images in B&W :D

Thanks :) The cobwebs and dust could not be removed because the subject is 3-5mm in size.

I have a really small brush if you need it. :-)

Interesting, what is your setup? What is the experiment?

More like a study of shape. I used an Olympus C765 at 380mm equivalent plus a reversed M42 Helios 44 (58mm f/2). With this setup I can fill the frame with head of a fly. I dearly wish my Oly had IS  It would me things a lot easier.

Quite like #4.
Not suprised you are having difficulty with the shots- you must be at about 7:1 magnification and just about zero DOF. Why are the shots so grainy - is that a PP effect?

Film Grain effect. Don't ask why i felt like using it. I was in a "old film mood" :D

Hi Dragos, These shots make an interesting study in shape. My first impression about the grain was it's a bit overdone, but the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me.
I take it these are parts of some sort of plant?
