OK, I'm a knucklehead- large attachments

I searched the FAQ and tried not to ask a dumb noobie question. . .but the attachment item in the FAQ is not particularly helpful

"The moderator may allow you to post attachments" Great! I posted a couple of small ones. How are you folks posting all those hyoooooge and gorgeous photos? Or are you "hosting" them somewhere?

Is there a thread that I can learn from. Sorry to ask what I'm quite positive is at least a weekly inquiry, but I didn't find a good answer on my own.

Check the post and if there is a paperclip on it the image resides here. If not it's hosted elsewhere. To upload here size the image to max of 800 on the longest side, reduce to under 100K and upload.
