I recently picked up a 20D as I'm renewing my interest in SLR photography. My 4 month old son will likely be my main subject as I'm learning my way around the new camera. What do you think? Comments & feedback welcome. Oh, and thanks 7Slots for introducing me to this fine forum ;)

Welcome to the forum Lindsey.
I'm sure that you will be shooting many photos of your favorite model :-)
Good thing the film is so cheap. He's a cutie.

Thanks for the welcome. Currently he absorbs almost all my time so finding time to shoot is tough unless it's of him of course ;)

You may want to become familiar to AI Servo focus mode (page 65 in the manual) and continuous shooting (page 72). When he becomes truly mobile you will need them. :-)

Definately! One key reason why I opted for the 20D over the D70 was the fps on continuous ;)

Welcome..to the forum, your new camera and new addition to the family. You've got your hands full! Really adorable expression in shot #2. I did a bit of adjusting in photoshop; levels, USM and a bit of selective noise reduction. I can post my edited version if you'd like.
