Very nice capture. :D With the exception of here in the macro forum, I've never seen one of these either. How big is it? I think this is the first one I've seen from the West Coast as well.
And I thought Bald Eagle had a monopoly on these in Florida. :rolleyes: ;)

I've never seen on before this neither... it was pretty big, body was bout an inch long. My girl actually pointed it out to me when we were out shooting at some old victorian houses.

it was pretty big, body was bout an inch long.Hmm, That's a pretty good sized Spider. With the bright Green body you'd think they would be fairly easy to spot. They probably hang out in the bushes where thay will blend in. ;)

Nicely done. Tiny nit maybe that you chopped off the legs, but it doesn't detract from a good pic.

you know its funny you mentioned it.... I originally had all the legs in.... but since they were so long... it made his body and head, which I felt should be the center of attention, alittle washed up.... so was tuffed it out and crop it close and chopped alittle of the front legs, since you can get the sense of the size from it's back legs.... I guess it didn't work huh.:lol:
