I asked this question some time ago and no-one seemed to have one or have used one.
I went to a local shop to get the Hoya close up set for £58 but they were out of stock.....I therefore bought a generic make for £17 and am well pleased.
I'm off to Spain tonight for a week so should come back with loads of piccies of ants and spiders!!

Just back from Spain and posted some of the close up photos at www.chardyboy.fotopic.net
It is really difficult getting beetles and ants to sit still while you snap away!
All of the photos are straight out of the camera with nothing done......yet.
While away - I had the chance to try out the 'hyperfocal' theory for taking quick photos. Seagulls soaring around Gibraltar were the target and hopefully I'll wade through the 100+photos this week and post the best(!?)

Great photos! My favorite is the lone tree. Ya' know, it's OK to take that sticker off the front of your G3 now. hehehe

I half tried once but they didn't use light-tacky glue - I'm stuck with the label or a dark patch of fluff and dust!!
Ho hum.....

I tried the close-up len once and the result were good but at the expense of soft corner. The DOF is so narrow that everything slightly behind or in front of the subject become blurry. My suggestion is to buy and if not satisfied send it back.Right now for maximum macro, i use the G3 in macro and use full zoom at F4 or F8.I`m quite happy and save myself 160$ that when instead to the 512 CF card.
