Great shot of the Mallard, you are obviously highly skilled in bird stalking to get so close to such a magnificent specimen. ;)

Thanx gents, did not go out today, felt a bit indisposed, so I went stalkin' some wildlife in our family room, silly old boy that I am.
As my much better half often says referrring to me, unlike good wines, some things do not inprove with age !;)

I also thought it was a Mallard at first but on closer examination it is obviously a Wood Duck. Congratulations!

Hehe, rather amusing.
Good to see you didn't get any blurry shots in those rough low light conditions.

You must have used a polarizer for the mallard shot as I see no reflection in that wacky coloured water;)

Gents, thanx for looking.....
Yeah, "rough shooting conditiond" indeed, at least the "wood duck" kept steady long enough....that is, until I became dizzy from kneeling on the floor for too long.:D
Used a"polarizer" to cut out water surface reflection......:D :D
