I have not posted in a while and thought I would post a couple from a recent High School Senior Session.

Great job!
Maybe a bit too close to the backdrop in #1.

Agreeded. Beautiful girl that's for sure. The shadow takes away from the shot a bit. #2 is dead on good job

why didn't any of the girls look like that when I was in high school, I probably would have shown up more for class if they did....j/k great shots and great model, she looks very comfortable in front of the lense

well done! great skin tones in both, and wonderful expressions. I agree that she looks very comfortable. One thing: you might want to use the clone tool on Darken mode and low flow and opacity to tone down some of the highlights on her face in both. Really nice work.

I agree that she's too close to the backdrop in #1, but I don't agree about the shadow taking away from #2. I really like that shot. The shadow adds volume.

I think she wil be very happy with both...

Yeah she might be a little close to the backdrop but that is just a lesson for next time...great job overall...

Lovely girl and nice shots.
The drape in the backdrop of #1 gets me a little though.
It takes the eye away from the subject.

Actually she is 6' from the background, I used a white vingetting, which makes it look like there is a shadow.

The only thing I find a bit bothersome, and I noticed it right away, is in #1. Coming out of the top of her head, there looks to be a fold or crease in the background. Also, directly above her right (our left) shoulder, it looks like the background bows in and then back out. It would probably be cool if the entire background was like that, but it appears to be the only place I notice it.

#2 is a great shot...

Nice job. I am going to give my try at it next year. I want to buy some back drops and studio lighting.

I think they are both excellent - technically & the subject. I am sure she will be happy with both of them. Nice work!
