Hi.

I would like to know how to ship a photography - how to mount and how to wrap and etc.

I've just joined forums. I started taking digital photography last year, and now I am using eos 20D. For the basic techniques, I ask around or read books to find answers.
However I still can't figured out how to properly ship photography yet. Can someone give me any good advice on that?

Thank you very much.

Do you mean how to post a photograph? If so, with or without a frame? What size did you have in mind?

Depending on the size... If it's small (8x10) then a big envelope is good, but "sandwich" the photo between a couple pieces of stiff cardboard. If it will fit a FedEx box is perfect. If it's bigger you may want to use a mailing tube - just roll the photo up and stick it in the tube. In both cases the tube/cardboard should be thick enough to handle the shipment - plan on it getting banged up a bit, so make sure the cardboard is thick enough to take some damage so that the photo won't get damaged. If you're not sure how thick, then thicker is better.

Thank you very much for your advices. The photos that I am thinking of sending would be either 8 1/2"x 11" or 13" x 19". I was going to mount on an acid-free board, then ship it. Maybe I will find a box or an envelope to mail.
