[Bend The Light]

...but I'd like to know what you think of this. It was always my intention to make a surreal type HDR. Taken from 3 bracketed images and use Nik HDR FX Pro.

I looked at this for awhile. It's deceptive and easy to make a comment about the centered-ness of the comp, but I don't think it's necessarily incorrect. But to me, I think there's a bit Too Much Gate and Not Enough Absurdity. By that, perhaps more background, or trail leading to the gate, would bring out the 'bridge-to-nowhere' concept. Maybe a wider angle lens would work close-up here; this image looks compressed.

I can't comment on the HDR.

Anyway, cool idea dude.

I think it is a cool idea, but I don't think you've nailed the implementation yet. I'm not sure what it might need to get there, but I'll know it when I see it, and I don't see it yet.

But kudos for taking your photography somewhere new and different.

Thanks...I wanted to keep the fence, which is why it was landscape orientation, but I will take your ideas into account if/when I do a re-work. Thanks. :)

I think the processing is ok for the subject but I'd rather see the turnstile off center one way or the other.

Image just lays there with the thing dead center (IMO) ;)
