i am starting to do quite a bit more automotive stuff and i have the 70-200 f4l and am wondering would a 135l be better or the 70-200 f4l or what i am kind of torn right now i love primes but i like my 70-200 as well any suggestions i can only own one of them

Zooms trump primes any day of the week for practicality. I'd only recommend the 135 if all you shot was portraits or low light work, but not for cars. I have 135/2.0 (Zeiss), 180/2.0 (Leica) and various very fast lenses but they stay home when I shoot cars. Cars are usually shot at F8 or so. No need for fast lenses.
Don't get me wrong, you can certainly do some nice stuff with fast lenses like the 135 L but if your choices are limited, as are yours, then good zooms are the only way to go.

I really like my 70-200 I have right now. I'm contemplating the upgrade to the is version now.
