Nice picture. I like it. It's upbeat and not a hell of a lot of noise for 3200.

Looks like she is very pleased with her grandson's performance. Great job at capturing a definitive emotion. Looks great for ISO 3200... Gotta love that 50mm f/1.4!!! Can't help but notice that the focus seems to be on her hands, and not her face. Just nitpicking... still... fabulous image!
Peace!

Bill, you are correct about the focus on the hands.
It is intentional. She is clapping her hands to the music (flamenco) but due to the hemiparesis (stroke) it is not so easy.
Does not seem to bother her enjoyment...

Works either way! Great image.

Very nice! It's a timeless shot - the high ISO grain reminds me of my old film days.

your edit is far too harsh to my taste...
I am working with layer masks but thus far without anything to show though I know what I am after and maybe you as well.
The original conveys pretty much the situation as it was.
then again, who wants reality...

OMG this is not at all what I wanted. Please be free to to express your views. I expressed mine and I am ready to grant you the same freedom. I saw what you are getting at and we probably have the same ideal in our heads. I just said that your first effort was too harsh and you probably agree.
I hold nothing against you. I appreciate your openness and really hope that my blunt response does not change your ways. Let's see how we can avance this project. I am keeping you posted.
with respect
