Do the big trucks have big counter balance weights in the back. So if they go into a corner the weights will balance the truck to stop it from tipping over.

I may well be wrong, but i just thought I'd ask.

I believe it is all to do with the COG, everything with mass is kept low in the body.

Great shots only thing I find a bit odd is the fact they are from the Dubai Desert Rally and you can quite clearly see in the background a main highway/motorway which is a bit offputting. Not meaning to be critical as I think the photos are execellant just the back ground:)

The shot's were taken outside the Ibn Battuta shopping mall, this was the setting of the first stage/prolog of the desert rally.
The main highway in the background is Sheikh Zayed road, this is the main highway threw Dubai and also the scene of some of the craziest driving you will ever see.
