hi
does anyone know of a product to protect the screen on a 10d. i scratched mine the other day and i am fearful of more scratching

I once bought an "LCD protector" off of ebay (which turned out to be a thick piece of clear plastic that had a sticky side). Before deciding to use it or not, I talked to a Canon representative. He thought it was a bad idea. If the protector needed to come off, then there could be residual sticky stuff. And when trying to clean that, it would be possible to scratch the LCD.
One suggestion that I had heard (i don't remember if this was from Canon or not) was to use the plastic/film sheets for PDAs (much like the above suggestion). Haven't done it myself, though.

Apperently the actual screen on the 10D itself allready is a clear plastic cover that can be replaced with another from Canon for about $10.00
I read this on this forum a month or so ago.
If this is the case I see no reason to protect the replaceable protector.
