Hopefully someone in this forum is using the SDK with VB6.
I have the SDK installed and the camera WIA driver installed. The CDSDK.dll is installed along with all the other dlls in the development folder.
When I run the sample application I get error codes :
C000000060 and C0000000F1 and then it exits.
Can anyone guide me on properly setting up the SDK to work with Visual Basic?
Thanks
Don

Did you ever get VB to work with the SDK? I have been using the SDK from Olympus working with their cameras and am considering doing similar development with the Canon line. Olympus supplies an ACTIVE X control which makes life relatively easy.
I look forward to your comments.
Very truly yours,

I am using VB6 and the Canon SDK 5.0, and everything works OK!
I have tried SDK v.6.0, and I got the same errors that you got. Even if try the sample VB program GetPicture, I get the same errors.
I will let you know, if I get it up and running.
Kind regards,

What a coincidence. I was just playing with SDK 6.01 this morning, running the sample VB programs (GetPicture and RawDevelop) with VB6 SP5. No problem at all. Worked like a charm.
I am running Windows XP Pro SP1 and the camera I had attached was the EOS 10D with RAW files in the CF card.

I'm not certain but I think you can only get the SDK from this link if you live in the USA or Canada. Hopefully, you're in one of these countries.
