I went to visit my mum on the weekends, where she delights in feeding the local birds. They are so tame and eager for food at feeding time that I was able to get right in with my EF-S 17-85.

Parrots in your garden, talk about spoilt. Mind you Ring-necked Parakeets have become well established in southern UK so maybe with 'global warming' and a few releases/escapees into the wild we will be seeing more such species in the future.

What a wonderful place your mom's garden is - we have a few cockatoos flying around Nassau, now - escapees after a hurricane damaged the zoo a few years ago, plus there is the colourful bahama parrot, but we rarely see them unfortunately.

Well I don't want my wife to hear that! Excellent series of the captures.
