One for all you crumpler owners with one of the 'Million Dollar Homes' - which would be best for the following kit:-

300d + grip, 16-35, 24-70, 70-200f/4 along with the usual clutter of cards/batts/cables & perhaps a flash (sigma 500 super ef dg xy qn whatever).

I'm assuming either the 6 or 7 would be the one to go for, but how usable is it for a walk around bag & would you trust it to hold your gear in an aircraft cabin bin? (thinking carry-on potential here).

At present I have a Budgie Smuggler which will just take the 300d (no grip) with either of the two smaller lenses fitted. I also have an old style LowePro Stealth reporter 300aw (the one without the inner zip closure) which will just about take the gear , however I wouldn't trust things to not fall out in an aircraft cabin luggage bin or if stowed under a seat.

Alternatively does anyone have any recommendations for this style of bag, I'd prefer something that doesn't scream 'CAMERA, CAMERA, CAMERA' when just mooching about, or a camera store in Dallas (preferably the Garland area or downtown) that has a decent selection to play with when I get there next week?

i have the 6 and i beleive it would hold all of that (not sure about the 70-200) but to me the bag when packed is too big to lugging around all of the time. tons of padding, which is nice, and the velcor plus the quick release is pretty secure. the velcro is LOUD, but very strong. there's a big zippered pouch inside the lid for batts, cf, etc..and one velcroed one in the front for other small items.it could probably fit under the seat in an airliner. i like domke bags more, personally, but they have less padding, which to me is better when having to lug it around all day.
