I brought my Powershot S100 to Canon Monday morning for repairs.

I dropped it about a year ago and it's had a sticky zoom button ever since,
I also broke off the compact flash door.

It was purchased in December 2000 and I was informed it was out of warranty and would cost $150

I mentioned that the Powershot was responsible for getting me hooked on digital photography and I've
since bought G1, G2, D30 & 10D.

The technician said he would see if he could take care of it and would call to let me know.

Unexpectedly I received the camera back today from Fed Ex.

Replaced Center Cover Unit
Replaced CF Cover Unit
Re Adjusted
Updated
Cleaned and checked all functions.

NO CHARGE.

It's nice to see a company that still values loyal customers.

Do you think your chap would have a look at my washing machine? :D

On a more serious note: Canon have my 10D for cleaning sensor and a mark on LCD at this very moment. Had it for 8 Days now. I hope they're as good as some reports indicate!
