I just loaded ZB on Windows XP. It downloads pix to the file from the Camera Window but doesn't recognize any files to View & Edit, Print, etc. I've uninstalled and re-installed - no luck. The customer service people didn't have any ideas.

Has anybody had this problem and/or fixes?

I don't understand what you mean by "the file from the Camera Window". Do you mean that the camera window opens with your images displayed, but you can't download them?

I don't know how to break this to you...

At least 25% of the complaints on this site deal with ZoomBrowser problems. That program stuck it to me about two years ago after a year or so of use.

I switched to ZoomBrowser at that point and have never had another problem. I consider it $35 well spent. I use a card reader and point BreezeBrowser at the card. I delete the obvious losers and rotate the ones that need it. I then copy the survivors to a "scratch disk" folder on my hard drive. I then use BreezeBrowser to convert the files to TFFs or JPGs.

I strongly reccomend you ditch ZoomBrowser before it really causes some harm on your system or you lose some pictures you really want to save.

ZoomBrowser Ver 4.1 was only released in October 2002. I think you may be referring to all the problems in ZoomBrowser ver 2 and 3.

Version 4.0 doesn't allow you access to the Program Files. I had to move my ImageLibrary to a new directory off the main drive. Could that be why your photos are not displaying?
