I really like the second one. How did you do the conversion?

in photoshop select color pic ,then on to image-ajustments -down to channel mixer -select monochrome with tic in box -then pull the green slider all the way to the right-then pull blue slider all way to left -then pull the red slider abit more to right or left to suit the image -click ok then image -ajust -down to exsposure -here you can pull the offset slider to the left only a very small amount at a time -then pull the gammer left or right to to suit your picture - this exspoure button works very well on all pic,s
