Hello.

I have a question. How can i recognize that my battery may be dying?? What happens? Will my battery just stop holding a charge? Will it stop charging? Will it give me a shorter charge(ie - i can only take 40 pictures instead of 70)?

please advise.

also, and please forgive me if this is inappropriate, but does that same hold true for digital video cameras? If the battery just wont charge up, does it mean that i need a new battery, or that the device itself maybe at fault?

thank you for you help. it is greatly appreciated.

The number of pictures you can take before the battery runs out of power will decrease to the point where it us unreliable.
