Ba Humm bugg Christmas is taking my gear

Does it seem this time around Christmas is taking more than giving? Seems alot of people are selling gear to make ends meet and now for Christmas.
Kinda putting a damper on the holiday for me as I may fall prey to the Christmas season and have to sell my gear in order to make the Mortgage and to buy that tree with presents etc...bah humm bugg:mad: I say
what are your feelings ?;)

You know it Bro, been a difficult year with not much going on. Sold 2 lenses so far this year and have another in the MM as you know. Will spend next year replacing these I guess.

Took me 3 years and the selling of my much loved ATV to get my gear and slowly but surely it's dwindling away just to live.

If you have to sell stuff to buy more stuff for Christmas then what is the use. I would say remember why we have Christmas in the first place and it is not all the crap that retailer would have you believe you need to buy. :)

This time of year, seems like a good idea although you have missed my lens - Sold with a saddened heart I can tell you. Will hopefully bounce back in the New Year :)

my four little ones would dis-agree lol I tried to pitch that holy day kindness and good will to all and they said yeah and I want the new coll of duty remote and gears of war limited edition remote oh and an ipod etc.etc I said how about a nice 16-35mm lens they said uh no but would like that new exploders gun shoots water pellets , um it is cool think they will get that one for sure lol...

I wouldn't sell off hard earned gear for presents...although, it seems a reasonable sacrifice for maintaining food/shelter/clothing. Hopefully, those that need to fall back on that can bounce back in the new year!

As a side note, those Expolders are terribly disappointing...and sort of a PITA to use. I'd highly suggest the new disc launchers from Nerf over those :)

I for one plan to take full advantage of this trend, and use the misfortune of others, to get some new toys for as little as I can possibly get away with.

Heck no ! I don't want to take a snapshot of someone that's broken into the house...:p Really, that would depend on whether I had one that was a fair trade, and not used that often, I suppose.

yeah with 2012 coming and the end of days guess i could protect my water and supplies with my pistols more so then with my 300mm lens lol what good is a picture going to do me then..as not to fall prey to those who wait for the misfortune of others ..Merry Christmas
