I saw these wheels all welded/bolted together as I was driving between Lewiston, ID and Pullman, WA. I just had to stop and get a closer look. I have never seen such a crazy fence. I spent about 15 minutes taking photos, and shot a total of 35 pictures, these were the ones I thought were the best.

I am including the uncropped, non-colorcorrected version of the photos available by the link underneath each photo so you can see what I started with and let me know if I am cropping and colorcorrecting corectly.

I know that this is a lot of photos but I am very grateful for any feedback that I can get.

I used no flash on any of these.. Should I have?

The next time I go by I am going to try to re-shoot this one so that the barn and the wheel are both in focus.

I had no clue what to do with this one... I guess I could have cropped out the sky at the top but I didn't even know where to start.

I am excited to get a lens adapter and close-up lens so I can really have some fun.

Finally, should I be posting smaller photos? I don't want to upset anyone on a 28.8 modem.

Your pics look really good and creative.
The overcast day was in your favor.

One pic that to my mind is missing is a general overall
shot of the fence. With only close-up pics I can't really visualise what the whole fence looks like.

Your shots are a good size. Not too large.
Putting up 5 at one time might give some people trouble.
I'd suggest not putting up more than 2 or perhaps 3 on one post.

Ohhh...I like them! I can see why you would be compelled to take so many photos. I tend to gravitate towards rusty items [easy to do in Oregon!]....so many gradients of interesting colors.

I went nuts taking photos of this old car as a bit of a joke for a friend:

fun!

I have to agree... overall, very nice shots, but you have me wondering as to what this fence looks like! Do you have a picture you can post?

Ok, I was hesitant to post these because they are really bad but
they are pretty important so someone can get the entire overview of the fence.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I think that the first one above showing the whole fence is wonderful. I think the fence as a whole is more interesting than its component parts (which are also very interesting). Just my opinion, but I think the shot of the whole fence is necessary to truly convey the significance of the more detailed shots.
