Hey guys,
I'm trying to decide whether or not to wait for an order I placed for the Canon D10 from Wolf Camera ( which could take up to a month), yet they sell for $1,499 with no tax, USA warranty, and no shipping OR
Frys Electronics has a few in stock right now at the same price but with tax. Total of $1,623. I assume it has the USA warranty.
What do you guys think?
Thanks

If you cant wait and need the camera A.S.A.P. then spend the extra $123.00 and get the camera now.
I order from B&H in new york and got my 2 10D cameras in less than 9 days form my order and paid $1,499.00 with no tax and S&H was less than $35.00 . But you have to pre pay and wait for it to ship. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Charr5,
I was in the same boat about a month back,. but I had even bigger savings on the line.
I ahd ordered one for $1349.99 US from a reputable vendor,. but alas they were not sure when they would get them in stock.
Believe it or not,. it was Canon USA that told me that it may be June before many of the internet vendors were restocked.
I cancelled my order and thanks to a tip on this forum,.. I bought one at Best Buy. :) $1,499.00 and tax.
Been using it for just over three weeks and love it.

Usually, if I see something cheaper than I paid for it, I feel gutted. Well, that's happened already with the 10D n' me. Prices are starting to level out now in the UK and it's easy to go on line and buy it for about £50 - £70 less than I paid for it. But you know what? I don't care. I was one of the first to get one, I had no hesitation in buying it (just the internal turmoil around spending the same as a fitted kitchen on the damn thing), I am in love with it and I think it does a great job

I went the same route...everyone says they have it in stock until you ask them to Fed-Ex the order overnight...I just got mine two days ago (after waiting over a month)and love it...except it is rejecting one of my Sigma lenses

I haven't received mine yet, but it sure is a lot easier to handle than the 2600.00 I spent on a D30! At least I got 800.00 back out of it to apply to the 10D. (When it ever gets here!)

What do you mean by rejecting the Sigma lens? I have all Canon lenses except my new Sigma Wide angle 17-35mm. I hope it doesn't have any problems.
Let me know about the rejecting if you don't mind.

It's all right here.
Only a few lenses have difficulty with the new Canon bodies. Sigma will update the firmware in the lens free.

I hope the 17-35 sigma works for you I had problems and sent it back 6 times and sold it off for the canon. To many problems. Sigma is just not worth the problems and the lenses are not all that good. Good luck. I have the canon 17-35 F2.8 L and it is ten times better.

Circuit City has the 10D in stock, charges tax, free shipping, but gives a $50 gift card. Nice help towards purchase of a CF card, monitor, printer, etc.
