Good timing and focus. I would bet that soem fill flash would have done a lot of good here. Worth a shot next time. Thanks for sharing.

This was my first time shooting supercross indoors.One thing I noticed was when you used too much flash your pictures would turn blue from all the exhaust that was in the air, so i was kind of fighting that most of the time, and the lighting wasnt as great as i expected it too be. I had an awesome time though I love to get out and shoot something different every once in a while!

I think you used way too high of a shutter speed IMO.

yeah i agree.. needed faster shutter speed and higher ISO i think.. under those lighting conditions. Indoor stadiums are hard with lighting.

yeah, I would have used a higher iso to gain a better shutter speed but my d60 only goes up to 1000, which i cant figure out because my d30 would go up to 1600? Now I know what i did wrong so next time I will be more prepared.

This is one of the original pictures before some post processing. Notice the blue, its kind of wierd but I think its from all the exhaust in the air. Do you think if I set my white balance custom I could get rid of this??
