Just wanted to post my experience...
I ordered a 10 D from Ritz, but after a couple of days and reading horror stories about the wait, I decided to go to the Fry's electronics. Well, they had two in stock, just in that morning. I have a friend who works there and I knew that they get a nice discount, price plus 10%. I asked the sales guy what the discount was and he showed me. The discount came out to be about $83. Also, I went a head and purchased the 5 year warranty. That was about $127, but then got about $40 knocked off due to the employee discount. With a generic 256mb card, the grand total came out to be $1719. So, in the end, the discount paid for the tax, that the internet would have saved me, but I have the camera in hand now, rather than waiting four plus weeks for Ritz.
Looks like there isn't much of a mark up on the 10 D.
