Shots taken with a Digital Rebel, 50 1.8 @ 2.5, shutter ranging from 1/30 to 1/60, ISO 200. PP done with Photoshop CS, added some Contrast, shadow/highlight done on a few, used a 2nd layer set on Overlay with a 50% opacity to add some real Punch.
I agree with the background, if I really felt like it, I would PS it out, did a quicke Clone out in #3, I'm surprised the background didnt get fuzzed out, I was pretty close and f2.5 normally does a good job at giving great Bokeh.
Oh well.

Those are nice shots! It's a matter of taste, but I don't think you needed to "added some Contrast," ;)

I normally add about +13 contrast from any RAW files I convert, livens them up a bit, but on these I wanted to go a different route, and added A LOT of contrast, I got the result I was after, so I'm happy :D

Very nice! I like the first one, with close up of the sunset (I presume) colors above the wheel well.

My favorite car. Nice pics also. I would love to have one in my garage. But I have to have something to put 3 kids in.

Flipflow WS6 -
Running mid 12's on street tires, broke a tooth in the rear end, so shes been restriced to street use only, once I slap a new gear in the back, and some 17x10.5s with Slicks on the rear, I expect low 12's, after the Bore/Stroke/Cams and Supercharger, shouldnt have any problem with 10's.
Jetmech1- Thanks! I love this car to pieces, would prefer a 69 Mach 1 with a 429, but I dont want to have to sell my house to buy a car!

was that on a driveway? i personally like a more thought out location rather than a driveway or a parking structure

yeah, it was on my Driveway, I had just finished washing the car, backed it out of the car port to do something, and thought the sunset was reflecting really nice off of the paint, grabbed the camera and snapped away, didnt have enough time to drive to the Scenic highway across the lake from my house (takes about 20min to get to the bottom of the hills, another 15 to get to a good spot, sun would have set by then)
These are just inpromptu shots that I thought came out really nice.

I'm pretty happy with the results (both of the shots and on the track)
Its a PITA to get her ready for Track Day, takes me a day or 2 of gutting the interior, changing fluids, etc, But its definatly worth it!

didnt have enough time to drive to the Scenic highway across the lake from my house Sometimes it's easier to do it in PS:
Selecting areas in PS.

Need to remove a background from something?

If I see a nice background or sky, I'll shoot it for future use, too.

After requests for a new Background for Image #2, I submit this edited version, one of the shots I took of the sunset whilst I was shooting the car.
