So this morning I was outside before work looking at the lights just before dawn, I squinted a little bit to try and count the spikes from the street lights. There were lots and I have a lazy eye so it was sort of hard to count and I was starting to see spots but there's like at least 20 or more! Not bad for such a tiny prime eh? :p

Just in case you didn't already know, the spikes are caused by your eye lashes.

Perhaps ericgtr is intentionally pulling our legs, but indeed the eye's iris is not a collection of blades. It is a "muscular contractile diaphragm."
