Thanks friend. It was my first and ONLY wedding. This wasn't by far the traditional wedding and it was nerve wrecking. My hat goes off to the professionals who photograph the full blown weddings. I say, leave it to the pros. :-)

Thanks again.

Dave

The keys to wedding photography seem to be:
- People skills.
- Preparation.
- Practice.
- Comfortable shoes.

Nice photo :)

Very nice image. It's wonderful to hear when couples get re-married. I imagine it must be far better for them the 2nd time around because they have already learned so much about each other and worked through a lot of their differences.

Thanks for sharing.

If they all look that great, the couple should be thrilled. Nice job.

Hi Guys!

Thanks for the kind words. Actually they loved the images -- he's a co-worker so I agreed to shoot the event at no cost to them (I was there 3.5 hrs), as long as they purchase their prints from me. He agreed, and off I went.

To date, no prints have been ordered, but they (and everyone at work) loved the images. Infact, I had two other wedding offers (from coworkers), which I turned down. I learned from this experience (in more ways than one), but weddings are hard, and in this case there was no preparation .. he told me Thursday he was getting married Sunday. Whoa!! :-)

Here's a little something I did in PS, which they also loved. However, PS is new to me and as you can see I still need LOTS of practice. :-)

Thanks again guys.

I like the vignetting in the last one, but you should try with a white vignetting as well to see which looks best.

they look way cool and relaxed -people skills are there
your technique- well, THAT needs no commenting
I fully agree on the subject of leaving wedding photography to the pro's
(nearly had a core melt-down during my first half-hearted attemtp..the austral summer sun is HOT)
As for the vignette...I think you could do a slightly better one with the gradient tool on a layer mask in levels and/or H/S.

I like it framed in black.

I like the photos. I much prefer informal wedding shots. A lot of formal ones look stuffy. Have you made much money of sales of your wedding shots?

Exposure looks right on. Great shots, some backgrounds could have been better. The must be thrilled.

Hi again guys!

Thanks for the feedback and critique, it's much appreciated.

This was my first (and last) wedding. I shot the event, but have only made $75.00 for a custom slide show I did for them with their favorate song synchonized to the images. They said they would buy prints shortly. I also did a 11x14 and gave it to them as my gift -- it came out great.

Dave
