Nice shot.
I love the crop.
Guess I'll have to post some of mine... ;-)

Nice lighting and makeup etc. But IMHO that crop sort of produces a weird shoulder blade area... looks android, unnatural without more foreground/chest whatever. Anyone else see this?

Agree, I think the crop makes her look unaturally wide.

I also think the light in her face makes her look too white, a bit of warmth in her face would have brought out the natural whiteness of her hair and added to the contrast of the b/g. Saying that, it's better than anything I could do!

I like the even colors of the skin. How much PP was done on this shot? I don't think the crop is that bad as it s a solid line that splits the frame.

Agree, the air and the unknow under the crop line makes it look um "odd"

other than that it's a very good image.

I see many references to these workshops by "CharlesU": does anyone have a link where I can learn more? I would like to attend a workshop here in NYC.

Regarding the photo, I like it too, but I also agree about the crop issue on her left shoulder.

Thanks

You're all entitled to your opinions, and I'll support you all the way.

Crop, Crop, Crop, everybody is a crop critic.

I see a slightly bright photo of a beautiful woman with flowing shoulders.

Great shot.

I think the hair adds bulk to the shoulder, giving it the wider appearance people are commenting on. Maybe the same pose, with more separation of the hair/shoulder.

I have been looking to get over to Charles's workshop someday, only about a 10 minute drive for me to get there.

Looks like you had a good workshop, great shot!
